West Bradley is a 1MW utility scale solar farm situated in Tiverton, Devon. This solar array covers an area of nearly 3.0 hectares and is comprised of around 4200 JA Solar panels, each with a capacity of 245W. Each solar panel is set at a relatively low angle of 20 degrees.
Although located near a road this site is neither visible from the road nor the adjacent fields.
This is due to the low angle of the solar panels combined with a slight slope in the field. This allows for maximum performance levels with a very low visual impact. In addition to this much of the area has maintained its original functionality like grazing and grass cultivation as the solar array only covers part of the field.
